The balcony was a good size, and the air conditioning kept running even with the door open. Towels were changed daily too, and the bath towels were large and soft. The room had a spacious bedroom and comfortable mattresses, though it was a bit scruffy in spots. The bathroom was only just over 4sqm and in rough shape: rust around the bath overflow, a damaged outer layer on the shower hose, stained and broken marble, and lots of limescale on the shower screen seal that needed Viakal. There was only one small bin, in the bathroom, and the tray supplies weren’t replaced after we used them. The hotel clearly caters a lot to French visitors, and some reception staff treated British guests quite differently. It didn’t feel like a 4* hotel to me, more like a 3*. I’ve noticed management only responds to good reviews, as if indifferent or bad ones don’t count.

The location right on the beach was a win, and breakfast had a nice range. The bed was comfortable, though the room felt small for the price. I’m not sure they could have picked a smaller TV 🤣 The sangria was nice too!

I shared a deluxe room with my two sisters and loved the pool. The staff were nice, and we had a beautiful ocean view from the balcony. The A.C. wasn’t as strong as we wanted, but it cooled the room if we left it on long enough, so it wasn’t much of an issue. Breakfast was nice, nothing fancy but definitely not bad.

The hotel was right by the ocean, and our deluxe room had a beautiful view. It was spacious and the trundle bed worked perfectly for the three of us sisters. The staff were very polite. The A/C would cut out if we accidentally left the balcony door open, but the room cooled down quickly. Breakfast could’ve been better. I didn’t care for the scrambled eggs or beans, though that’s a small complaint. We had a great time and I’d definitely return.

We had a lovely week, with excellent buffet breakfasts and dinners. We also took a boat to Cadaques, which was really pretty, and visited the Dali museum in Figueres, which is worth seeing. Our Room 307 had a side view over the beach, promenade and shoreline, about 50 yards away. Hearing the sea day and night was fabulous. The room was a nice size with a balcony. The bathroom could use some refurbishment, but it didn’t bother us much, and there was plenty of hot water. A hair dryer, safe and fridge were provided, but no kettle. It was frustrating that the public areas had no bar service until 4.00pm.
