Punta Candor Suites

Our swim-up room was excellent, fully equipped with everything we needed, and positioned perfectly near the main pool. The hotel was really clean, and every staff member was brilliant and helpful, especially the reception team. It may have been the most relaxing holiday we’ve ever had, and we can’t wait to come back. The beach is easy to reach from here, but apart from a beach bar, there aren't any shops or restaurants within an easy walk. Rota is worth a trip, though, with lots of bars and restaurants and a lively feel.

We got back from dinner to find ants all through the apartment. It's the middle of winter, we're on the second floor, and they're coming from under the skirting boards, doors, and windows in every room. We only checked in this afternoon, so this is really disappointing. Lovely decor and fancy furniture can't make up for the lack of hygiene.

We had a wonderful family holiday, and the kids especially loved the swim-up pool. The rooms were clean and comfortable, just right for us. Jose at the front desk was so kind, helpful, and accommodating from the moment we arrived, which made us feel welcome straight away. Even with a small kitchen in the apartment, there were plenty of handy options nearby: a beachside restaurant (“chiringuito”), a hotel restaurant, an ice cream shop, and a gas station, all within walking distance. We'd definitely come back.

The hotel is modern and beautiful, with an amazing location that's great for a family holiday. It’s away from the lively areas, so it suited us for a quiet break. We’ve just got back from punta candor and would still highly recommend it, but booking through jet 2 as a large family was frustrating. We were told we'd have rooms next to each other, but ended up at opposite ends. With four young children and an early flight, waiting until after 3 to check in was difficult, and Jet2 should have told us about that on arrival. We also had to pay a £500 deposit, which we still haven't received back, even though we were told it would take 24/48 hours. We returned on Tuesday and I can't seem to get hold of anyone about it.
