Comfortable Mansion in Rute with Hot Tub

Rute is close by and has everything you need without much driving. We had a wonderful week in this lush setting, and would gladly come back any time. The rooms were very clean and beautifully decorated, with spectacular views from the terrace. The carefully decorated patio is a lovely sight too, and Carmen was friendly and quick to respond.

The hosts are kind, and if you ask, they’ll provide things like dishwasher tablets or toilet paper. We stayed six nights; none of the towels were changed, though we didn’t ask for that either. There can be a bit of country noise, like a barking dog or rooster, but otherwise it’s a very nice place. This is a lovely BnB in the hills above Rute, and it has won awards for several years. The pool has sunbeds, there’s a washing machine and drying rack on the grounds, and the houses have a fireplace or stove with wood supplied. Our apartment’s kitchen was well equipped with an oven, electric hob, dishwasher, and refrigerator with freezer. The refrigerator made quite a bit of noise, which was very noticeable at night. The only things we missed in the kitchen were a decent corkscrew and a tea towel for drying dishes.

We love it here. The owners are lovely, the apartments are well equipped and finished to a very high standard, and the views and walks all around are fantastic. An absolutely fantastic place to stay.

The charming host Carmen takes meticulous care of this amazing place. The weak Wi-Fi was a downside, and it’s difficult to reach on foot or by public transport.
