The restaurant was a real surprise, with very good food and a view of the beautiful beach just two steps away. The location was great. The hotel itself is old and not very attractive, though, and the pool is tiny for the number of guests. On arrival we were put in a dark ground-floor room with no view or fresh air, and an unpleasant bathroom smell. It felt like a basement or a prison. After speaking with staff, we got another room with a sea view. Everything was old, but clean. Rooms facing the ventilation shaft shouldn’t be offered to guests. Guests smoked everywhere, with no consideration for non-smokers, so there should be a designated smoking area. Most staff were very friendly, except Eva at the front desk, who seemed to act as though being there was a punishment.

The beach is right across from the hotel, and the location couldn’t be better. We stayed five nights and had a great time. Our room was simple but had everything we needed, and choosing all-inclusive turned out to be a great decision. The food was delicious every day. Everyone was kind and helpful, especially Eimen at the bar, who was so nice and attentive. We’d definitely stay again.

The food was fresh and had a good variety each day, and the staff were really friendly and helpful. We stayed five nights at Hotel 07 Columbo with breakfast and dinner. Our triple room had thick mattresses, and my two kids and I slept comfortably. The beach is beautiful and right nearby. The pool area is small, but with the ocean just outside, it suited the hotel fine. One day the hotel kindly let us swap lunch for dinner. Housekeeping came every day. We had a lovely stay and would come back.

The food is the best thing about this hotel. The menu is much like what you find in other Spanish hotels, but everything tastes amazingly good, from the carrots to the paella. Meat, fish, seafood, salads, all of it! If you want to eat like you’re at a top restaurant throughout your holiday, this is the place. The hotel is right by the beach, the staff are friendly and polite, and the rooms are cleaned and towels changed on time.
