Finca Son Cladera

The room was elegant and clean, with a large modern bathroom, and the finca sits well back from the road. But calling this a peaceful hideaway doesn’t match the experience. It’s clearly geared toward families, and both pools were often full of children. When they were shouting and jumping, the area wasn’t usable for anyone looking for quiet. We also struggled with the private trail. The map didn’t line up with the signs, we got lost twice, and eventually the path ended at a barrier. One afternoon, very loud car-racing noise nearby went on for hours and ruined the day. Staff later said it was illegal racing, but that explanation came much later. The AC stopped working on our first night. It was repaired while we were out, but nobody let us know. The paid washing machine broke the day before we left. We were told it would be fine and left our clothes, but heard nothing more. After we complained, staff kindly washed and dried them, though they came back damp. We had to finish drying everything the next morning before packing. Please describe the place honestly as family-first, rather than a quiet retreat.

We booked a junior suite just 20 minutes before arriving, and everything was spot on from start to finish. The communication was good, and the suite had so many thoughtful details, from beautiful ribbon taps and really sharp knives to an extremely comfortable mattress. The outdoor area is fantastic, with two pools and a lovely forest. Honestly, staying here feels like winning the lottery. We’d gladly come back again and again.

We’ve just returned from our second stay at Finca Son Cladera, and both visits have been perfect. We take a lot of family holidays, and this is easily our favourite. The finca is stunning, and it’s peaceful while still close to the beach. We usually head toward Pollenca, about 15/20 mins away. The service is attentive without getting in the way, so you can just enjoy your stay. There are two pools, and we usually end up having one of them to ourselves. We’ll definitely be back.

We’ve just come back from four nights and loved it. The sunny patio became the best part of the day, especially for breakfast and morning coffee, and the scenery was amazing to wake up to. The apartment was spotless with lovely interiors, and the pool was a great place to relax with a beautiful view. It’s peaceful here, set a little away from the small village, but still only a few minutes by car from the grocery store. Some beautiful villages and beaches are an hour or less away. The service was great and accommodating. I’d happily come back and recommend it to families too.
