Pure Salt Port Adriano Hotel & SPA - Adults Only

The views over the bay, beach, and marina were incredible, and the hotel was quiet and relaxing. We woke up to that view every morning. Our Hydro Terrace Junior Suite on an upper floor had a balcony whirlpool that we loved using morning, day, and evening. The staff made the stay especially good. María from reservations and reception handled all our requests before we arrived, including some unusual, specific ones, and made them happen as we’d hoped. We met her during the stay too. She was warm, professional, and caring, and the whole team was friendly, attentive, and helpful. We mixed relaxing with exploring Mallorca. For one day of our short trip, we arranged a private driver through the hotel, which worked perfectly and made seeing more of the island comfortable and stress free. We enjoyed the food and drinks, especially the burgers. The outdoor pools looked beautiful, though we didn’t use them. We spent most of our time in our own whirlpool or in the sea. We didn’t visit the spa, so can’t comment on it. Everything felt perfect, and we were comfortable and well looked after throughout. We’d love to return.

The views are lovely and the hotel was very quiet, but it looked tired and the service was terrible. Whenever we wanted a drink by the pool, we had to get the lifeguard to find a staff member. Everything seemed to cost extra. A friend came to visit, and we were told it would be 50 euros if she swam or even sat on a sunbed. The hotel was virtually empty and the pool was freezing, so I couldn’t see why she had to pay. The scent pumped through the hotel, including into the rooms, was so strong it gave both of us headaches. Our free welcome drink was a small beer or a glass of house wine. The lift in our block was being painted, but there was no wet paint sign and it stank of fumes. When I asked about an airport transfer, I was quoted 150 euros, three times what a taxi booked privately would cost. We’ve stayed at lots of five-star hotels and both felt this was one of the worst. I don’t normally bother leaving reviews, but the stay was so disappointing. Definitely not worth the money.

We had a relaxing five-day break and loved it. The spa facilities were great, and the location was excellent for everything the Port has to offer. Service was prompt, and breakfast was a delight with a good range of food. One suggestion: when it’s hot, guests who are willing to pay should be able to have the air conditioning switched on so they can sleep better.

We only wished we could have stayed longer. The food at Pure Salt restaurant was amazing, and the service was impeccable from check-in right through to leaving. Everything was perfect. We’ll definitely stay again.
