The Lodge Mallorca - Small Luxury Hotels

There’s a special kind of luxury to staying somewhere with fewer rooms, and the service here is excellent. The property is massive and the rooms are spectacular. We had a superb stay and will definitely come back. Cap de Formentor is a spectacular spot and not a long drive away. Highly recommend it for a very unique experience.

We spent a short weekend here for our mini-moon and loved it. We barely left the hotel, making the most of what was on offer. The restaurant had an extensive lunch and dinner menu, and breakfast was superb. We were lucky enough to attend the Saturday dinner hosted in the Lavender field, which was fantastic. We can’t wait to return. After reading some negative reviews, I’m genuinely shocked. We’ve travelled around the world and stayed in five-star hotels, and this place was right up there. The hotel and its staff clearly put a lot of effort into making the experience top tier. It’s pretty disgusting that people go out of their way to leave such poor reviews. If you have an issue, deal with it directly instead of posting on a platform that can hurt someone’s business. Avoid those negative reviews, they have no idea what they’re talking about.

The hotel is lovely, with a beautiful natural landscape, though I’m puzzled by its description as five-star. I wouldn’t rate it that way, even though I enjoyed it. The main view looks over the area’s main highway, but I didn’t find the noise noticeable. We were unsettled by recent comments about room robberies. There were cameras at the main entrance to our rooms, but the suite door itself had no lock. The lock was on the outer patio door, which someone could certainly climb over to reach. The room’s sliding doors also felt shaky and insecure.

Breakfast was very good and served until 11, which we really appreciated. I also had a massage at the spa. It’s small, but very clean and honestly just the right size for the hotel. We had a few amazing days at The Lodge, a truly stunning hotel with top notch service and a super friendly team. We can only recommend it, and we’ll be back.
