For the price, I’d stay here again and recommend it. The hotel is centrally located, clean, and has friendly staff and a good breakfast buffet. Our room had a balcony facing the main road, which got a bit noisy at busy times. The room’s large, new TV was nice, but there was no minibar. Parking was difficult, and the old, uncomfortable mattress really needs replacing. It’s now part of the Sno chain.

We stayed three nights at the end of December and came away with no complaints. Our room was warm, though we could run the fan and open the windows, and they let us keep our skis, snowboard, and boots in the room without any fuss. The people were really friendly and the service made us feel comfortable throughout. Breakfast was good and a fantastic price for three days. The woman looking after it was efficient, friendly, and kept everything in order. They also suggested other ski slopes besides Formigal and places to visit. We had a really great stay.

Breakfast is good, but Meri made it a 10 out of 10. She runs the whole dining room, constantly topping up food, helping guests, clearing plates, cleaning, and greeting everyone with a smile. She’s incredibly friendly and somehow keeps everything in order. The service from the staff was wonderful in general. Our shower head had broken, and we forgot to tell reception. When we mentioned it to Adam on our return, he said they’d already noticed and fixed it. The hotel itself was quite good too.

The buffet was wonderful, with delicious homemade food and plenty of variety at both breakfast and dinner. Everything was spotless each day. We spent five days there, and the warm, genuine service made us feel like family from the start. I’m leaving happy and grateful. Thanks for taking such good care of us, I’ll be back next year.
