I stayed three nights and am still waiting for the manager to follow up with me, after contacting them in early December. I was put in a tiny single room with no window. There was barely room to get out of bed and turn around. The sewer smell from the bathroom made me ill. I asked for a refund of 80 EUR per night and was ignored. On the last night I was moved to a better room, but there was still no apology or partial refund. Renting out a suffocating box for a fortune felt greedy. I had to sleep with my door open a few centimetres to the common hallway for air, risking strangers coming in. It was traumatic. On checkout day, neither the manager nor the cleaner showed up. They seem to think ignoring a person or problem will solve it. I’m still corresponding with the booking platform to get this resolved.

The staff were very nice, but the place is extremely minimalist. There wasn’t even a bin in the room, so you have to use the one in the toilet. The towels were poor, and there’s no soundproofing, so beware if your neighbors are loud. There’s no kettle, and the shower cabin is a little small for tall guys.

The place was very clean, and it’s in a nice neighborhood about 10 minutes from the center. But the air conditioning didn’t work. They had an old unit that probably hadn’t worked for a long time, and the room was quite cold. The bed pillows were very uncomfortable, and there were no extra blankets or pillows. There’s no 24-hour service, there are too many rules about no food or drinks, and it wasn’t easy to talk with the staff in English. It was okay.

Sergio made arrival easy, marking Salamanca's highlights on a map and helping with my request to use a fridge and store my bags after checkout. I was happy with this one-night stay. I booked by phone with my credit card, and my single room had a very comfortable double bed. The shower was clean, though supplies were limited to towels, hand soap, and toilet paper, with no little shampoo bottles. I was given metal keys for the stay. Gracias a todos.
