Andrea at reception was so helpful, sharing several city tips and recommending a bar with really tasty tapas. My room also had a nice view and a balcony, and the central location made the stay even better. Honestly, it was a good experience and better than I expected. I'd give it 10/10 and recommend it.

The hostel was in a great spot for seeing the city, and both the bedroom and bathroom were clean.

Don't choose the shared dorm for five. There's nowhere near enough room for five people to manage, and squeezing in a fifth single bed feels deliberate. It comes across like they're trying to fleece tourists. They can't do that if you stay away, so don't go. There are plenty of other places.

Salamanca is a great location for this place. The kitchen was messy and the bins were full when I checked in, but after I mentioned it, the receptionists worked hard to clean everything. They showed they listen. The staff were okay overall, neither terrible nor superb. I can't give five stars because one person in my room had to leave their card in a slot all the time for the electricity to work. There were no privacy curtains, either.

The location was very good, but the bathrooms were dirty. The blankets smelled, and the mattress sagged. Breakfast was just biscuits or crackers, bread, and jam. Quite pricey for what they offered.
