My wife asked for two glasses of Verdejo, but we were served Mayor de Castilla instead. Local bars charge €1.50-€1.60 a glass for that wine. The bill, though, charged us €2.50 each for two glasses of Mantel Blanco, a better and more expensive wine. I raised it with the manager, who was playing solitaire on his computer, and he told me it was the same thing. The set menu we two ordered wasn’t bad. I paid without arguing because I didn’t want to spoil my day, but I won’t be back. I can’t recommend the place after what I see as this deception.
