The beds were the worst part for us as pilgrims: spring mattresses, poor bed frames, and lumpy pillows made for a terrible night’s sleep. Noise was another big problem. The windows let in cold air and outside sounds, while the old wooden structure carried noise from inside. You could hear everything. The bathrooms were old and in bad shape, especially the showers, and the cleanliness wasn’t good. The beds were dirty and the floor dusty, though at least the washing machine worked properly. The apartment looks lovely at first, which is why I understand its rating, but there was a lot left to be desired. The owner wasn’t there to welcome us or check us in. We entered using a code.

The owners were very friendly and attentive, and the apartment is spacious and well located. But it needs maintenance, including some updated furniture and appliances. One bathroom was clogged, and the bathrooms in general need attention. The dishes and kitchenware could be better too. For the price, I’d say it’s fine for a single night.

The beds were comfortable, though the frames creaked a lot. The living and dining room was huge, and the apartment had two bathrooms for four people, but only one had a shower. We paid €123 for one night for three people. The apartments are spacious and centrally located, but felt neglected and need maintenance, especially the kitchen. The bathroom was okay, though it could use improvement. They didn’t even leave a kitchen towel.

We were counting on the trail marker they’d left below, since there aren’t many left on the original route, but it was dry and we had to find our own way around it. The apartment itself is really nice and spacious, though some appliances seemed close to breaking. We also spotted a few “inhabitants” around the house.
