Apartamentos Escarrilla Sallent 3000

We were grateful to arrive to a warm apartment, which made a big difference on cold days. It has lovely views, a fireplace and TV in the living room, and a large dining table for six between the kitchen and sitting area. There are two spacious bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with two trundle beds, plus a roomy bathroom with reliably hot water. Parking was large enough for our SUV, and Formigal ski slopes are just 10 minutes away. We had a great weekend and would recommend it to friends. Thanks so much.

They stay in touch on WhatsApp and sort out any problems. When our garage door wouldn't open, they helped straight away. Great service.

We stayed with family over Easter week and found the mattresses very comfortable. The apartment was well equipped, and getting there was easy with everything clearly explained. The views were spectacular. There's plenty to do nearby and some very good restaurants if you don't want to cook. We'd gladly return.

The location is beautiful, but the price felt outrageous for the limitations, and we won't return. The apartment was hard to find, as were the other people we met, because the signs were terrible. Getting up the hill was difficult with elderly people. We booked nine beds and were surprised that one was a sofa bed; its sheets were tucked away in the boiler cupboard, which was a mess. My two-bed room was so cramped that opening the wardrobe was difficult, and using the drawers was nearly impossible. The tablecloth didn't even cover the table. For the 380 euros we paid, they could have provided a larger one. The house instruction letter came across as threatening and very blunt, listing what they'd do if we left the place unclean or even a minute after 12 pm. There are other, more accessible places in lovely settings that are less pretentious.
