The views of Siurana are amazing.

Our apartment in Cye 8 was a terrible experience and poor value for the price. The place is outdated and nothing like the photos. The kitchen was dirty, with old utensils, and the dusty wardrobe got our clothes dirty. The doors were broken, the walls were peeling, and the living room chairs were actually the terrace chairs. There were cockroaches throughout the building. Other owners had late pool parties with music and food, and construction in the building below went on all day. I absolutely wouldn’t recommend it.

We had a clean apartment with comfortable beds and sofa, and the supermarket was nearby. Outside peak season, the views are good, the price is reasonable and the area is very quiet. There’s a small cove about an eight-minute walk away, a pool, and parking is included. They take a €200 deposit and return it on the day you leave. In November, all the restaurants in the area are closed. A few small improvements would help: the TV feels too small for the distance from the sofa, the double-bed sheets were too tight, and an appropriately sized bedspread would be useful for guests staying outside summer.

We stayed for 15 days and had a very well located apartment with an exceptional view. But the apartment was barely equipped, almost as if we were playing house: two bowls for four people, four forks and four tiny forks, no pots or pans, peeler or oven dish, six basic glasses and plastic plates. The rules need a rethink, too. Teenagers were in the pool after 11 pm, splashing around, taking off their swim trunks and throwing chairs into the water. Other guests were swimming at midnight, drinking and eating in the pool. The sign listed rules and hours, but people ignored them. Some places have too many rules, but here there was no respect at all. This really needs reviewing.
