The location is close to the centre and beach, and the pool area is nice. The place looks quite good, but sleeping was almost impossible. The beds were very uncomfortable, there was no air conditioning in the building, and noise from the busy area outside carried on all night. Even a kettle or fan costs extra, so I guess you get what you pay for. After those sleepless nights, I can’t recommend staying here.

The apartment was so poorly equipped that there weren’t any cooking utensils at all, and bugs were everywhere despite the multiple traps left around. There were what looked like human skin particles on the bed, and the smell of feces was so bad that we spent most of our time outside on the balcony. When we reported the problems, the staff were rude and obnoxious. Someone promised to come clean and sort out the issues, but nobody ever showed up. It was a really poor experience. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone, even someone I liked least.

Sheila at the Rentalmar office where you pick up and return the keys was welcoming, very pleasant, and spoke good English. There’s a €50-per-person deposit, returned after the apartment is inspected. Despite the negative reviews, this is my own take: if you’re coming to do snag listing, keep looking. For the price, I thought it was good value and would definitely use it again. The apartment was clean, the beds were comfortable, the shower was nice and hot, and towels were provided. The kitchen and living area were spacious, with a TV, and there was a lovely large sunny balcony. All the electrical appliances worked, and it was well located. A few things could be modernised and minor repairs done, but nothing major.

The beach was close by, really nice, with clear water and no waves. The furniture was old, though, and the apartment hadn’t been cleaned before we checked in.
