Golden Costa Salou - Adults Only 4* Sup

As a solo traveller, I found the Golden Costa quiet and relaxing, just the kind of break I wanted to switch off properly. The pool area was beautiful, with plenty of space and a calm atmosphere. My room was spacious, with a lovely balcony, and both it and the general areas were spotless and well maintained. The buffet was tasty and had good variety overall. My one criticism is that some dinners felt heavy, with a lot of sauces and cheese. A few more lighter or vegetable-based options would be welcome, though salad was always available. The trip exceeded my expectations, and I’d readily recommend the Golden Costa to solo travellers or anyone looking for a quieter getaway.

The beach is beautiful and just a stone’s throw from the hotel, with transport links into central Salou. This adults-only place had relaxed, respectful guests, which helped make for a great stay. The spa was very relaxing, and we both had excellent massage treatments. Staff made everything easy, with a friendly, personable and relaxed manner while still being professional. Our room, ensuite and balcony were comfortable and cleaned beautifully, and the food had a very good mix of options. We used the spa for a facial and pedicure, and I highly recommend it. The woman who did the treatments was brilliant, and I’d definitely book another facial when we return. We were there for four nights, room only. Our room had everything we needed and a comfy bed. There was a small problem with the safe, but it was sorted very quickly. We tried breakfast one morning and enjoyed the good food selection, though we preferred going to a nearby café for a very cheap latte and croissant. The rooftop pool was lovely, with available loungers and a nice, quiet atmosphere. We’re very happy with the hotel and its lovely spot right by the beach. Thank you.

The beach is really close, with plenty of restaurants a short walk away. Both pool areas were beautiful, and lunch by the pool was good value and very tasty. We were allocated this hotel as part of a holiday deal and were delighted when we arrived. The social spaces were lovely and well kept, the rooms fresh and clean, and the staff incredibly helpful. There was a lot of construction in the area ahead of peak season, which we hadn’t known about when we arrived. The staff were great about helping us relocate. We were told the work was due to be completed in two weeks, in time for the busy period. We’d definitely come back.
