We loved the greenery around the hotel, the terrace for pre-dinner drinks, and the rooftop pool, which is small but has great views. There are four other pools around the grounds. Inside, there’s lots of seating, a games room behind the bar, and three lifts, including one to the restaurant for anyone who can’t manage the stairs. The walk-in rain shower and toiletries were fab. We stayed three days at the las vegas hotel in Salou and had room 510, at the end of the fifth floor. The hotel was spotless, beautifully decorated, and the room was spacious. Our cleaner was so accommodating and couldn’t do enough for us. There was plenty of food to choose from at both breakfast and dinner: cold meats and cheeses, hot dishes, salads, breads, pastries and soups. There are microwaves around the restaurant for heating food. It’s very close to the shops, bars and restaurants in the centre. We didn’t run into any trouble or rowdiness in Salou itself, and there are police patrols along the front. Six of us were there, on our second visit to Salou, and some of the group had visited six times before. We’ll definitely stay at the last vegas next year, probably for longer. Drinks are cheaper at the hotel, but bottles can cost a little more, so try draft. It felt more suited to adults than children, which suited us. We always dressed for dinner. A five-star stay from all six of us.

The pool areas were nice, and the indoor seating had lovely armchairs in all sorts of designs and sizes. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the bathroom was clean, but the room felt small with three beds, two together and a single. There was no kettle or tea and coffee in the room. We had breakfast and dinner included, and whether there was a queue depended on when we arrived. The food was good, though much the same each day. You have to pay for water, which is poor, and the bar won’t give you ice unless you buy a drink, also poor in a hot country. The lifts are too few and too small for such a large hotel, and the lights in some toilets switch off seconds after you turn them on, leaving you in the dark. The location is great, but the hotel needs some upgrading. We stayed seven nights in October.

We were there September 19-26, 2025. I liked the hotel a lot. The location is great, close to the sea and the center, and the rooms were well maintained. The staff were cheerful and polite. We had breakfast and dinner, both very tasty with plenty of choice at dinner. Breakfast could have been warmer, but it wasn’t a problem. The pools were cold, which was the downside. I’d recommend the hotel 100%.

The hotel looks beautiful, like a real four-star place, but the experience behind that appearance was a complete disaster. I’ve stayed in both budget and high-end hotels, and I’ve never seen such a huge gap between how a place looks and how disappointing it is. On the third day, I got seriously ill with food poisoning and spent the whole day in my room with stomach pain and a headache. I could barely get down to reception to ask for pain relief, but they refused and told me to go to the pharmacy myself. I felt like I might pass out, so I couldn’t. The food was poor quality and tasteless, with little variety. There were queues to enter the dining area and more queues for food. The coffee was undrinkable, and there were very few fruits, which tasted bland too. I can’t remember eating worse food anywhere in Spain. The pool was freezing, and they charged €2 to rent a towel, something I’ve never seen elsewhere. I don’t know where the hotel’s high rating comes from. Maybe it used to be good, but it’s awful now. I feel deceived and strongly don’t recommend it.

We were really close to the sea, and I’d suggest the place to friends. We spent a week here after booking through Loveholidays, and everything else was spot on. The staff were really friendly, and we had full board with plenty of delicious food choices. Our only niggle was the bed setup: we could only select a double or twin room, with no option to guarantee one double bed, so we ended up with two beds pushed together. That was a little uncomfortable, but I’d definitely return.
