The rooms have all been redone, so they look modern, and there's a huge TV. The pool is nice and big too. The rest of the building, especially the hallways, is pretty poorly maintained. Inside the rooms, supplies are sparse: no toiletries or kitchen basics, just things like glasses, plates, a fridge, cooker and microwave.
The check-in setup is awful. You have to do it online and then repeat the same process in person at another building. There's no Wi-Fi in the rooms. Mine smelled bad and was dirty, the furniture was partly broken or barely working, and there was no kettle. They also didn't provide soap or other cleaning supplies.
I just got back from the Alboran, and I wouldn't return. There was no one at reception, so I had to go to another hotel to get the apartment key. During the 11 days I was there, nobody came to clean, change the sheets or replace the towels. I ended up buying towels myself. The pool was dirty too, so I couldn't use it.
It was really nice, and I didn't have any problems.
Good place for a low price.
