The accommodation was great, and it's very central for shops, with the beach about seven minutes away. The pool rules are strange and there are too many of them. The lift guard acts like the fun police when enforcing them.

I've been here all of four hours, and the place is a disaster. I'm writing this now because the conditions are disappointing and a real safety hazard. I've taken plenty of photos of all the problems. The sitting room has exposed electrical wires, and brown stains are running down the walls directly below the air conditioning unit. The toilet isn't secured and moves when touched. When we opened a drawer, its entire front panel came away in our hands. There's visible mold on the kitchen ceiling. The refrigerator has a sickening, rancid smell of spoiled meat when you open it. This place is neglected, unhygienic, and structurally unsafe. Staying here is out of the question. It's shocking that it's being rented to the public.

We booked the Royal apartments early in the morning, but when we arrived, the conditions were so unsanitary that we couldn't stay there with two children. We left straight away and went to the office. After we complained and filed complaints everywhere, they put us in a Larimar apartment the next day as “compensation,” as they put it. To avoid going through the same thing again, I cleaned and disinfected the new apartment myself as soon as we arrived. The furniture was broken, one air conditioner didn't work properly, and the walls were scuffed and dirty. The mattresses were beyond words. Every time we woke up, we had welts from bites. We might as well have slept on beach sand, where there certainly wouldn't be fleas. When I handed over the keys, they still had the nerve to ask if I'd mopped, taken out the rubbish, and broken anything. I stared at her and said I should be charged for the cleaning I'd done when we arrived and when we left. I don't trust these people at all, and think they'll find any excuse to keep my deposit. But I have before and after photos and videos, so we'll see. I'm not going back.

The pool was the only thing worth much, and I wouldn't return even if they gave me a month for free with all expenses paid. We were six people, two adults and two children in each of two families, in apartment 423 from July 24th to 28th, the last week of July. The reservation was under the other couple's name. They gave us only one set of keys, which wasn't enough for two families, and getting another was impossible. Their directions to the apartment were wrong, we got completely lost, and we were stuck in the elevator as soon as we arrived. The landing went dark and never lit up again. The apartment was dirty and ugly, and lacked a lot of basics. Cockroaches were in the kitchen, which was falling apart. There were only three spoons for six people, four patio chairs, no dustpan, toilet paper, scissors, or decent knife, and not even a decent tablecloth. The baking tray was the wrong size. The rooms had floor stains and weren't clean. There weren't enough towels, the sheets looked old and repeatedly washed, and the bathroom was awful. The living room bed wasn't big enough even for a child, let alone an adult. One bedroom had no air conditioning, the unit in the other didn't work, and the living room one barely cooled the whole place. The noise was unbearable all night from the busy street, so we couldn't sleep. Then the neighbours told us to be quiet at midnight. Four nights of hell. When we were leaving, they first said we could stay until 5 a.m. if we paid, then changed it to 1 a.m. We couldn't even enjoy the pool on our last day. People should know who they're giving their money to. Apartment 423 should NOT BE AVAILABLE FOR RENT. I'm happy to give more specific details if needed.
