We were four, my husband, our teenage kids and me, and stayed five days and four nights. We mostly just used the apartment to sleep, so we managed fine even though the wardrobe was tiny, about half a metre long with just two hangers, a brush and a mop. We kept our clothes in our suitcases. The place was small but clean, with a big terrace, a little table and four chairs. There were two single beds with good mattresses and a very comfortable sofa bed, and we all slept well. The kitchen was compact: a two-burner hob, a pot, two pans, four plates, glasses and cups, cutlery, a bin, a TV, a small living room cabinet, plus a dining table and four chairs. It also had a washing machine and microwave, and a clothesline on the terrace. The bathroom was fine, with a bathtub and bidet. Bring your own bed linen, towels and kitchen towels. There weren't any cleaning products, coffee maker, oven, iron or sandwich maker. On arrival, you leave a €50 deposit, and there's a fee of €11 for children under 14 and €22 for those over 17. You have to leave the apartment as clean as you found it because they don't clean it. There's a small pool and a cove across the street. The pool is about 1.40 metres deep and 1.80 metres wide. For little kids, bring armbands, since there's no shallow area for them. One funny thing, to get out to the street in the lift, you need to press 2. Floors 0 and 1 go to the pool, and it took us a while to work out which button was the exit! Parking is paid, but we couldn't find a single space. We ended up parking past the Best Cap Salou hotel because there isn't much room around. You can stop across from the apartment, on the other side of the street from the Cala de Font hotel, in the yellow zone to unload luggage. It's a hill, the road goes both ways and cars park on both sides, so it can be tricky, especially in the August heat. Be patient, it's intense! It's a really lovely place, with lots of hills and valleys. There are supermarkets, a pharmacy and restaurants nearby, and a bus stop further up for trips to the center of Salou, Cambrils, PortAventura and more. The stop has an office selling bus travel cards, which are cheaper and come in multi-trip options. They'll explain the routes, and there are maps with departure times and places, including excursions to Barcelona. Hope this helps. If you need more information, I'd be happy to help. Have a great holiday!
