The rooms are basic, but clean, and the beds were comfortable. It's not in the heart of salou, though there's a bus stop nearby, and a shop across the road sells a travel card for 10 trips at 10 euros. You can top it up with another 10 trips for just 6.95 euros. There are a few bars and restaurants close by. I found it a bit noisy, mostly because of drunk men, not kids. I don't sit around the pool, so didn't use it, but past reviews say the water is very cold. It's rated four stars, and I've stayed in better four-star hotels, but this place was clean and tidy.

The helpful staff were a plus, and the hotel is well placed, with a nearby bus stop for getting to Salou or Tarragona and a beach within walking distance. The food is good and reasonably priced. But the pools are freezing, and the sun doesn't reach them until around 5pm. There's a smaller kids' pool that gets sun, but it's always busy because it's the only one that does. Housekeeping was a letdown. They mostly made the beds and sprayed air freshener, but didn't properly clean. Toothpaste marks stayed around the sink from the first day until we left. The kids' and adult entertainment was good, but loud music ran every night until 11 or 11:30pm, so an early night seems unlikely. We were on the second floor and heard everything. Maybe the fifth floor is better for sleeping early. There's a small arcade and a few pool tables, both at extra cost. The laundry room is downstairs, €6 per wash and €6 per dry. There is only one washer and one dryer, so queues may form depending on the season. After a family week here, we wouldn't return. We want a hotel where the pool gets morning sun, and the poor room service was a major disappointment.

Rooms were clean and the beds comfortable, but this wasn't a peaceful place to stay. People stomped along the corridors late at night and banged on doors after locking themselves out. Our neighbours sat on their balcony drinking and swearing until 4am, and the nightly entertainment was loud too. I'm surprised they let groups of single lads stay here. I understand this may not be the hotel's fault, but I wouldn't recommend it, wouldn't bring my grandchildren, and won't be back.

We had a brilliant week here, and Alice at reception was especially friendly and helpful. She was always happy to chat. The rooms were immaculate and cleaned by the maids every day, and there was family entertainment daily. Adults could join karaoke, quiz nights and bingo, followed by kids' activities at 8pm. The atmosphere was great. The hotel is close to several beaches and not far from town, so getting out for family days was easy. My main gripe was the cost of some things. Food and drinks can be pricey, especially the hotel food, and the dinner menu wasn't that good. The breakfast buffet was lovely, though, and cost €25 for two adults with unlimited food and drinks.
