Communication with the owner was difficult, and the reception is only available if you call, which was hard to manage. The website said English was available, but the owner didn't speak it. The room photo also gave the wrong impression: there was no vineyard view from our window. The hotel bar wasn't open, and there was nowhere in town to have dinner. The air conditioning didn't work properly either, and we were very cold for 3-4 hours after checking in. It spoiled the last day of my trip. I was totally disappointed and wouldn't recommend staying here.

The owners run a vineyard, one of only three left in Samaniego, and offer interesting visits as well as good wine for sale. The host was friendly, and the rooms felt modern, though there's no air conditioning. The courtyard doubles as parking for farm machinery, so expect some noise.

There aren't many places to eat in this very small town, so I missed having food available beyond breakfast. Otherwise, it was a lovely family project: a beautiful, comfortable house, a really interesting winery visit, and very friendly owners and cleaning lady.

The house was pleasant, spotless, and in a good location. A few rooms were smaller than I'd expected, but they were still comfortable, and the cleaning lady was lovely. For the room price, breakfast should be included. The two bars in town don't serve it, and there aren't any shops nearby. The house also isn't set up for a hot summer, which should have been taken into account with climate change. Finally, it isn't suitable for anyone with health or mobility issues.
