Central Park

We were there for a week and had a really large, clean room. It was cleaned every two days, and the air con worked great. The rooftop pool and bar were open, and the beach was less than a minute away on foot. Would recommend.

The apartment was painfully hot during the day. There was no air conditioning, and the sun hit our room all day, making the bedroom muggy enough that my friend nearly fainted. We’d expected much better based on how the hotel looked online, so arriving was a major disappointment. The night staff were also very rude. On our third night, around midnight, they wouldn’t let us go to our room because they apparently didn’t believe we had booked there. Even after we gave them our names and proof of the reservation, they refused to check it and kept following us. I definitely wouldn’t recommend staying here.

I’ve been returning to Central Park Apartments every year for the last ten years. Its spot right in the middle of San Antonio, the reasonable room prices and the pool bar are why I love it. Santiago, the pool bartender, has worked there faithfully for as long as I can remember. His energy and kind nature always make my stay better. Carlos and Paco at reception are familiar faces too. Thanks for all the stays so far, and I hope there are more to come! James McCourt

The apartment staff were awful. It seemed like nobody knew how to do their job. If you're looking for comfort or hospitality, avoid this place at all costs. You can find somewhere better for less, so there's no reason to book here. Save yourself the hassle.
