The entertainment really made this holiday for us. The team kept inviting everyone to join in, with everything from bingo and dice games to darts, archery, bowls and bowling. Kids had a mini disco before the professional evening shows, and the open-air setting was lovely. There was plenty of room around the different pool areas, too, with sunbeds available and no crowded feeling. We had a spacious apartment with a separate bedroom and living room, each with a TV, plus a balcony. The bathroom had both a bath and a separate shower. I liked the refillable soap and shower gel dispensers. Meals were very good, with fresh pizzas, Spanish food, soups, salads and desserts, and the snack bar served things like burgers, hot dogs and salads through the day. At the pool bar there were self-serve soft drinks, coffee and water, as well as cider, beer, wine and cocktails on the all-inclusive plan. Snacks included nachos and pastries in the daytime and peanuts in the evening. The bartender was great. We used the free hotel bus to the water park, then took a taxi back for under €10. We also went to the beach by bus and returned by taxi for less than €10. Saturday's market in Playa del Inglés had a nice atmosphere and lots of stalls. A return taxi ride there was under €20.
After six years without a holiday, I felt safe and comfortable here, and it turned out to be the best one I've had. The staff were lovely, the hotel was really clean and kept up to date, and there were different pools and sunbeds to choose from. The food was really good for all-inclusive, and the drinks were amazing. A big thank you to the entertainment crew, especially Nacho, Kendra and Nareme, who spent time with me, my mum and stepdad. They were always positive and helpful. Kendra had my stepdad laughing during activities, and sweet Nareme made me laugh too. He's left now, and I wish him the best of luck in his new placement. Nacho was funny and lovely as well. I'll be back soon. Thank you for giving me such good memories on my first holiday in six years.
By the next morning, the staff had turned things around for us. They were so helpful and did a lot to make us comfortable, and the resort was kept really clean. The pool areas were spotless, with water that was actually warm, not freezing like at some places. As a picky eater, I worried about the food, but there was always something delicious for me to find. The room had given me a rough first impression: a faint sewage smell and a cockroach made me think we might be in for a holiday from hell. I couldn't have been more wrong. The entertainment staff worked hard and added a lot to the atmosphere. For all-inclusive drinks, I'd recommend getting a holder, like the ones from Shein. I wouldn't put much weight on the negative reviews, since most didn't match what we experienced. I'd happily return.
For a budget stay, this is a decent hotel and good value for what we paid. The staff were friendly, especially at reception and on the entertainment team. Martina was great, and the evening entertainment was fun. The team really tried to make it an enjoyable night for everyone. The food was okay, though not very varied and mostly the same each evening. Cocktails were pretty disgusting, and the spirits were very cheap. Amstel was the main beer, and they did serve proper branded soft drinks like Coca-Cola. Rooms were very clean, but the beds roll around on wheels, which gets annoying. The pools were clean and get sun all day. Most of the sunbed fabric was worn through, though, so the metal frame dug into your back. I'd recommend it, especially for families with children, as there's lots for them to do.
Check-in was easy and our room was ready early. The rooms are modern and spotlessly clean. We even saw cleaners take apart light fittings to dust inside and clean the bulbs. Bathrooms have newly fitted, modern fixtures. There was a good choice of food, and the Italian restaurant was excellent, with great service. Soft drinks and coffee are self-serve, and the bar staff are friendly with a good range of alcoholic drinks. I couldn't fault any part of the hotel and would stay again.
