The location is nice, and the pool area is lovely. Breakfast was good and the staff were generally nice. The rooms feel a little old-fashioned, though, and there’s only one socket apart from the one by the TV, I think. When we arrived, there were a few short hairs on the bathroom sink and in the tub. They were gone by the third day.
We told the staff ahead of time that we were celebrating a birthday and clearly asked for a small cake or dessert. Nothing was arranged or offered. That lack of follow-through at San Agustin Beach Club really let us down and took away from what should have been a special occasion.
The staff were so lovely, and everything was very clean. Dinner wasn’t really to my taste, but breakfast was lovely and the live entertainment was good. You can tell they make an effort to give you a good stay.
We loved the peaceful private pool area and its view of the beach, and enjoyed walking along the shore all the way to Maspalomas. The hotel has a great design and location, and the staff were GREAT, really friendly. Breakfast was good too, with a tidy buffet. The room’s air conditioning could be better and the bed felt a bit too firm, but we had a great stay and felt looked after 🧡 Very much recommended!
We stayed at the Beach Club in the first half of December 2022. The junior suite had a major drawback: a pillar takes up about 40% of the window, making an otherwise quite nice room very dark. Cleaning was basic. The carpet wasn’t vacuumed during our stay, and the bath wasn’t cleaned either. The meals were terrible for the first five days. After we complained, or perhaps after the cook returned, things improved, though they still weren’t anything special. The staff were generally okay, apart from the receptionist, who seemed offended when we raised our complaints.
