We stayed in apartment 131B on the first floor, on the left side of the complex facing the sea. It had a sea view and a short-cut tunnel to the beach, about a five-minute walk away. The full-length balcony was great, and the two-bedroom apartment was well equipped for self-catering, with an oven, four-ring hob, large fridge-freezer and microwave. There was also a toaster, kettle, coffee maker and teapots. We had air conditioning in both bedrooms and free Wi-Fi. The bathroom was old-fashioned but adequate. The gardens felt like an oasis, with hedgehogs, a group of cats and the occasional parakeet. There are three fantastic, recently refurbished pools, all very clean: two 25-metre pools and one 20-metre pool that's 2.6 metres deep and great for diving. There were always plenty of sun loungers and fixed sunshades. Absolutely loved this place.

It really seems to depend on which apartment you get. I stayed three weeks. Mine was clean and nice, with a good view, but it had no electric kettle or microwave at first. I told reception, and got the kettle after two days and the microwave after five. The internet worked during my first week, then was out for the next two. I kept asking about it, but it made no difference.

The pool area was good, and it's a peaceful, friendly neighborhood, not too far from the beach. The airport is about 20 minutes away, and the south of Gran Canaria usually gets sun and good weather. I didn't find anything to complain about during my stay. I lived in a company-owned apartment, so I can't say what the rental apartments are like. Some may be privately owned and rented out part-time, so their condition and standard could vary. Parts of the neighborhood could use repairs. I'd recommend hiring a car to see more of the island.

I got a really nice curly blow-dry at this hairdresser's, and they washed my hair very well. While I was there, they also helped an elderly woman and gave her a cushion so she'd be more comfortable. I'd highly recommend them 😄👍

Our apartment had just been renovated, so everything was great, and the terrace was superb. It was quiet, with no traffic. Really nice place, and I'll come back.
