The friendly staff, cleanliness, good dinner, and wide drink selection made for a good stay. There are a gym, laundry facilities, and a clean pool, and it's a quiet place for a peaceful holiday. The entertainment could be better, though maybe the child-free setup is why it doesn't go further. We still like a bit of fun. It works well if you're mostly heading out to explore rather than staying indoors. Dinner was good, but lunch was the weakest meal. You order quick food at the pool bar, and it seemed reheated; some dishes were better than others. Avoid the fish. I had a terrible stomach after eating, so I'd steer clear of shrimp and other shellfish too. I also wished there were more soup options, since it was nearly always vegetable soup. Breakfast was okay, but both omelettes I had were undercooked, as the chef seemed rushed. Some dishes could be labelled better, and every morning felt like a guessing game to work out which juice was which. The queuing directions were frustrating; a one-way system would make things less hectic and stop people going the wrong way. Feedback always helps.

We had a peaceful, relaxing time at Canary Garden Club on Gran Canaria. The resort is calm, and each small bungalow is divided into four apartments. We still had a private terrace with chairs and deckchairs, which gave us a decent amount of privacy. The pool isn't big, but it was enough for a swim and a cool-off. The food tasted very good, even though there wasn't as much variety as at some larger all-inclusive resorts. Lunch was a letdown: you have to order à la carte at the pool bar, which is inconvenient, and most of it was greasy, deep-fried food that didn't taste very good. Daily cleaning was another downside. Someone came every day, but the same dirty spots stayed there all week, so it was hard to tell what had actually been cleaned. It's a pleasant, quiet place to relax. If you're going to explore the island, I'd recommend renting a car because the resort is a little out of the way.

A great place to unwind, with no fights over sunbeds. The food was good, the atmosphere laid-back, and everything spotlessly clean. There was good entertainment at night too. No tourist tax, and a safe was included free. Our bungalow had two TVs, free Netflix, and three English channels.

We had a brilliant holiday last week. The staff were so helpful and lovely, the place was really clean, and we enjoyed the food. There were plenty of sunbeds, and the Balinese beds are worth the extra cost if you fancy one. We mostly stayed by the pool, though the beach isn't too far to walk. It's peaceful and quiet, with Yumbo centre only a short taxi ride away if you're after more of a party scene. Loved it, and I'd highly recommend it if you want a quiet stay and good care.
