The outdoor spaces were great, and the location was handy for the pool, shops and restaurants. The house is a little run down, and could use a few more hooks in the bathrooms. Nice spot.

The bed and mattress were really comfortable, and we slept well every night. The pool was another nice surprise: it looks smaller in the photos than it is, and was spacious, well kept and pleasant to relax in. We were very happy with our week at Santa Ana. The villa turned out much better than its rather modest photos had led us to expect. It was clean, cozy and well equipped, with a washing machine and all the dishes and kitchen utensils we needed. Wi-Fi worked perfectly, and having private parking and a barbecue was a big plus. Check-in was smooth, the instructions were clear, and the hosts communicated quickly and pleasantly. The Maspalomas dunes, shops, restaurants and other necessities are within walking distance, so a car isn't always needed. One small suggestion: a longer partition in the bathroom might help keep shower water off the floor. Our stay exceeded expectations, and we'd happily return. We'd recommend it to anyone planning a holiday in Maspalomas.
