Green Ocean

The hillside location worked well, close to the sea, promenade, bus stop, cafes and shops. The pool terrace was comfortable, and it was calm and quiet enough. It’s a budget apartment for people who want sunshine and don’t expect much comfort in the apartment. The cleaning was poor. We arrived to dirty glasses and towels, and there was often a strong sewage smell on the terrace and in the rooms. The equipment was old and worn, and the flowers were neglected and overgrown.

The mini market is a real plus. There’s no AC, and the WiFi is decent.

Don’t go there! There’s no view at all…

The pool and sunbathing area were nice, and the beach was very close. Shops and the nearby center were also reachable in about a 15 to 20 minute walk. There’s a small shop by reception, handy to have, though it didn’t offer much and was a bit overpriced. The cleaners started each morning by yelling loudly about their problems. During our week the sheets were changed only twice, once three days before I left and again one day before leaving, so there didn’t seem to be a schedule. After my room was cleaned, the door was left unlocked even though I’d locked it when I went out. Our neighbors had water leaking from the ceiling in front of their door, leaving a really big puddle. The people who came to fix it arrived very early and were already shouting in the morning. It’s a nice place if you don’t expect much.
