Resort Cordial Santa Agueda & Perchel Beach Club

Having a private pool with our room was a huge bonus with a young child, though the two main pools were great too. The resort has a calm, friendly feel, and the service at the sunbeds was excellent. They look out over an infinity pool and the sea. The staff went out of their way to help us, and the chef can make pretty much anything for breakfast, within reason. Our room was clean, modern, and spacious, and there were good food and drink options onsite. Highly recommend it, and I hope we get to come back. 5🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

We had an enjoyable, relaxing break in a very clean complex. The gym was good too, which is always a plus for me. The reception ladies I dealt with were both really helpful. One of them explained things clearly to our parents when they arrived three days before us, and wished us all the best and a safe flight when we left. The man with glasses was quite miserable by comparison. He didn’t explain anything to our parents, and barely looked up from his computer when we departed. Nights were a little too quiet, with nothing happening, so we went out of the hotel each evening. A laid-back guitarist or pianist could have kept some guests in and added a bit of atmosphere. The brochure also made the beach club look like part of the main hotel facilities, but it isn’t, and you have to pay to use it at weekends.

We arrived at the Resort at 23:45, but nobody was at reception, despite Booking.com saying it was staffed 24 hours. After three calls, someone finally answered and just said, “Sorry... tomorrow at 8.” We had to cancel, find another hotel for the night, then book a different resort at a higher last-minute price. It was a nightmare.

The beach club pool was great, and town is an easy walk away. Our room was modern and clean, with a kitchen that had everything we needed, plus a washer and dryer.
