Seaside Grand Hotel Residencia

The staff were next-level, learning each guest’s name and making people feel genuinely cared for. I also liked the no-phone rule in public areas. It really encourages you to unplug and be present. The spa was a highlight for me: sauna, steam room, salt room and cold plunge. I went every day and left feeling completely refreshed. Seaside Grand Hotel Residencia is an oasis of luxury and calm, intimate and elegant, with no crowds or chaos. Shops and restaurants are a short walk away, and the beach is about five to ten minutes on foot. The guests do tend to be older, but I didn’t mind; it added to the peaceful feel. Breakfast was exceptional, with champagne, mimosas and dishes cooked to order. Dinner was a highlight every night. I’d definitely choose half board so you don’t miss the incredible BBQs.

The food was exceptional at both breakfast and dinner, and the service throughout was out of this world. It’s a smaller, more intimate property than Palm Beach, with very personal service. I believe it’s adults-only. Palm beach is the larger sister hotel, with more going on. I love them both and would happily return to the Grand Residencia. I’d been staying at Palm Beach, which I love too, and decided to add one night at Seaside Grand Residencia. I asked GM Nicole at Palm Beach if she thought I should try it, and she said it was an excellent idea. She even drove me the 200 meters from Palm beach to Grand Residencia in her car. I felt like a VIP. My welcome at the GHR was flawless. The bell captain took my suitcase, the front desk offered a welcome drink, and someone escorted me to my deluxe room with a pool view. It was very nice and quite large, about 40m2 by my estimate, with all the amenities I’d expect from a 5GL star hotel. There was complimentary fruit and water, and yellow roses around the room and bathroom. The king-size bed and two armchairs were comfortable. The balcony had comfy chairs and a small table facing the pool, which was a quiet, beautiful area. I had half board, so breakfast and dinner were included. I would have loved to stay a couple more nights, or weeks, but had to get back to real life. I hope to return.

My husband and I have just had a wonderful two days here, though I heard people say that’s not long enough. I can’t recommend this majestic hotel highly enough. My travel agent let them know I was celebrating a special birthday, and Grand Hotel Residencia went above and beyond to make it feel special. I’ll never forget it. I’m so grateful to everyone: the friendly reception staff, the Pool Bar team, wonderful Betina, Miguel and crew, Eros and the restaurant staff, the piano bar team, and the friendly room attendants. Nothing was too much trouble. The hardworking chefs deserve all the recognition, including awards, for the excellent food. Thank you all so much!
