The confort house

William, the owner, was friendly and helpful, and the key pickup and return were easy even though Ryanair moved our flight, delaying our arrival by about six hours. We didn't get there until just before midnight, but we'd kept him informed. The property was so quiet that we could sleep with the windows open. There was a sea view from the bedroom, which was a bonus. Parking was easy, something that isn't always the case around Gran Canaria. Mercadona, the local equivalent of Tesco's, was a one minute walk away and open whenever we needed it. William also gave us a high quality bottle of wine, and there were other freebies for the first day or two, including cakes, croissants, toilet rolls, and coffee capsules. It suited us perfectly because we wanted peace and quiet. It might not be ideal if you want to spend all your time in the resort at Playa del Ingles, though a taxi costs about 4 or 5 euros each way. The place would suit a couple, or a couple with one child. The price to quality ratio was very good.
