Vista Bonita

The pool needs a clean, and the parasols look worn and could use repair or replacement. Breakfast was a weak point too, with limited choice and what seemed like one person left to handle everything. A dedicated waiter and a chef making hot options would improve it. Even so, we enjoyed our stay and appreciated the warm, inclusive atmosphere. Gay travellers can feel welcome here, which means a lot. Diego and Eduardo went out of their way to make guests feel cared for. Big thanks to Diego, always smiling and bringing a can-do attitude while helping the queens at breakfast. Ayoze was friendly, and manager Raul was approachable, so the pleasant atmosphere was there from the start. The staff clearly work hard to help everyone feel comfortable. We want to come back next year, and with a few improvements this place could be even better.

We spend every winter in Sonnenland, and Vista Bonita is close enough for us to drop in regularly for coffee or drinks. It's a relaxed, sociable place, made especially nice by the warm, friendly staff. Nothing seems too much trouble. A special thank you to Ayoze, and thanks to Eduardo and Diego too. You're all stars!

I've stayed here three times, but I won't come back. When I first visited, it was a place for gay men, and I was comfortable spending the whole day naked. Once lesbians in particular started coming into what I felt was MY SPACE, I became uncomfortable. I'm a gay man on holiday with my partner of 32 years, and I can't have a place that's just for gay men. That's where they went wrong.

The bartenders were the real stars. Ayoze, Eduardo and Diego had us laughing every day, and whatever we needed or could think of was available. I'd go back just for them, 100 stars! I wasn't sure what to expect when I heard we were staying at a gay resort, but from the moment we arrived we were welcomed with open arms. Everyone mixed together, even though we were all different in our own ways.
