Hotel Rural Finca de la Florida

We stayed for a week and used the hotel as a base for exploring the island. It's close to the centre and near several bodegas (wineyards), but the nearby road to that area didn't bother us at all. Our two-bed-room was large and nicely equipped, and the bathroom was in perfect condition. The building looks like an old finca. The outside wooden parts could use some repairs, but it wasn't a big deal. Jon, who works at the bar and restaurant, and the rest of the team were friendly, helpful, and always on the go. If sea views and beach parties at night aren't a must for you, we definitely recommend this place.

We usually avoid hotel restaurants, but we broke our rule tonight and were so glad we did. The food was delicious. We had the lamb and goat, both rich and full of flavour, with generous portions. We'd assumed goat was a bit dry, but this was soft and juicy. With a couple of drinks, we paid under £50, so it was great value. Jon was serving more than 30 covers on his own, including a table of 12, and still sped between tables taking orders, serving food and wine, clearing, and handling payments. You could say it's his job, but the service was amazing. He deserves a pay rise!

A relaxing place with lots of facilities. The sauna was lovely, the pool was perfect, and the food was amazing. Thank you.

We didn't stay overnight, so I can't rate the rooms. We booked the outdoor Dome Dining experience and had a wonderful evening. The service was excellent and personal, and dining in complete privacy under the stars was brilliant. The food was excellent too.
