The room was chilly, though luckily we were given a heater. A kettle for hot water would have helped too, and we wished there were double beds. Still, we enjoyed our stay. The hotel sits on a pleasant pedestrian street, and the rooms are huge, with an unusual old-fashioned style.

The warm welcome from the staff made such an impression that I'd come back for that alone. This is a beautiful historic hotel, with a cafe on the first floor, in a great spot in La Laguna. It's on a pedestrian-only street between the cathedral and chapel, with tapas spots and shops all around. Just bear in mind that this is an old building: street noise carries late into the night if you open the windows, and without air conditioning the rooms can get stuffy if you keep them shut. I still had a magical stay and hope I can return.

The walls and windows are thin, so you can hear people outside at night. The room was clean and the bed comfortable, though, and the lovely, helpful staff made the stay easy. The location in La Laguna is convenient, and it's a good choice for a few nights.

A gorgeous old hotel right in the center of laguna. Breakfast is delicious and brought to your table, and the staff are quick with the next coffee. The service was among the most attentive I've experienced in Spain.
