Avoid this place. Getting inside was shocking, and we had to find somewhere else to stay late at night. The house was heavily infested with strange crawling bugs that looked like millipedes. They were all over the floors and walls, and even dropped from the ceiling onto our heads. The shower was full of them too. There were spider webs everywhere, and even those bugs seemed preferable. The webs made it look as though the place hadn’t been cleaned properly for a long time. The whole house smelled strongly of mold, with visible mold on the walls. We couldn’t find any cleaning products or a broom to clear the bugs away. The owner never answered the phone, leaving us stuck in those conditions.

A good base for exploring the island and getting away from the tourist crowds, while still being easy to reach from different directions. It’s also a lovely spot to relax or have a barbecue with a view.

We stayed in this house for three months, and it was a dream. Maria, the owner, is charming, kind, and helpful. The view is one of the most beautiful I’ve ever seen, and the occasional light breeze through the house is really refreshing. Highly recommended to everyone, thank you so much!

It’s quiet up in the mountains, but still close to the center of the lagoon. A really good location.
