The garden area was nice, and the pool was lovely. The bungalow for 6 had air con, but the basic facilities were lacking. There were no bowls, only 3 mugs for 6 people, no toaster or kettle, and no blankets, just undersheets. We couldn't all have fitted in the beds provided, so we needed an inflatable bed. The hob didn't work, and there were no instructions.

We had planned to spend New Year's Eve at the restaurant and bar. The posters said everyone was welcome and that we could bring our own food, though drinks had to be bought there. After they served us a drink, we were told we couldn't sit at an indoor table unless we were eating our own food. The posters hadn't mentioned that. We tried sitting outside, but the tables and chairs were dirty and soaked from the rain, so we went back to spend the night in our motorhome. The poor customer service left us feeling like an imposition. The pitches are very cramped to get into, and seasonal campers have built around their units, blocking access and taking away the view from other pitches. The facilities are dated, and there's nowhere nearby unless you have a bike or car. We only noticed the larger site down the road, closer to the beach, shops, and restaurants, after we'd booked this one. I wouldn't stay here again.

The staff and service have been very helpful so far, and the toilet and shower blocks are very clean. It's a 15 minute walk to the edge of San Javier town. We were only one night into a five-night stay, though, and it can get quite noisy because of the AP7 motorway nearby.

The camping spaces are a good size, and I liked having electric plugs nearby. The ground was a bit hard for pegging down a tent, and there were no trash cans. The place itself was clean, with a nice pool and great bathrooms for showers. I didn't get to try breakfast because I had to leave very early.
