Alexandra Barcelona Hotel, Curio Collection by Hilton

Omar at reception deserves special thanks for finding me a room even though the hotel was fully booked. As a Hilton Diamond member, I also appreciated being recognized and upgraded to one of the nicest rooms on the top floor. The team were welcoming and professional throughout my stay. Alexandra Hotel Cannes, Curio Collection by Hilton is in the middle of everything in Cannes, with sights and other places within walking distance, yet the hotel still felt comfortable and relaxing. I'd strongly recommend it to travelers who care about service and recognition for elite members.

We felt very welcome and looked after thanks to the warmth and professionalism of the whole hotel staff. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and ready to help, whether answering questions or handling requests. I'm very grateful for the outstanding service that made our stay comfortable and enjoyable.

We didn't have to lift a finger during our two nights before the cruise. The staff even arranged for a taxi to be waiting in the morning to take us to the cruise terminal. Everyone we met, including Juanjo, Marti, and Mauricio at the door, was helpful and welcoming. The Alexandra Hotel in Barcelona exceeded our expectations. It's safely and conveniently located, within walking distance of shops and restaurants, and felt like great value. Claudia gave us a warm welcome, and Banji promptly helped with our bags. They arranged Hop on Hop off bus tickets at the desk too. Since we were two women walking alone at night, we asked for a nearby Paella restaurant. Carlotta called and quickly booked us a table for Saturday, just two blocks away, and the food was fantastic. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and breakfast was hot and plentiful, a great start to long sightseeing days. We'd definitely recommend the hotel and come back.

The location is great, but the gym is terrible and the room was small, even by local standards. The two-bed rooms have single beds instead of the doubles common in most upscale hotels nearby, and they’re uncomfortable even if you’re small. There are plenty of other options around, and for the price I wouldn’t recommend this place. The gym has its own bike, one treadmill, one elliptical, and one set of weights that only goes up to 10kg.
