The best place to eat in the Valley, even though it costs more than the other eateries. We enjoyed two of the three evening meals we had there. We also liked eating on the terrace with its lovely view, though getting there was awkward. The official route is outside and around the hotel, but we used the waiters' entrance over an awkward step. The toilet is downstairs with no lift, so my wife, who has limited mobility, had to go back to our room using the lift. The garden was a real bonus in the hot weather, although the chairs weren't comfortable. Maybe pads could be provided on request. It didn't cause us a problem, as we'd brought a comfortable folding chair. The owners, managers, and staff were friendly and helpful. One staff member did seem quite dozy, not knowing what was available at breakfast and forgetting orders. Breakfast was OK but limited: no cereal, scrambled egg was the only hot food, the bread was stale on the first day, and the fruit was often under-ripe. The yoghurt was very good when it was available. We spent a week here in late June, knew the area very well, and had eaten here the year before. The location is very good, with splendid views. We had room 19, described as accessible, and the walk-in shower was very useful for my wife. We asked for a plastic seat and one was provided. The room was a little smaller than expected, with limited storage, surfaces, and plug points. But the big plus was having windows facing three directions. There’s no air-con, but by using the shutters and opening and closing the windows day and night, we kept the unusually hot June weather from becoming overwhelming. It was irritating to find no proper waste bin in the room, just a very small pedal-free one in the bathroom. When I asked for a bin, they brought waste sacks instead. We enjoyed our stay overall and hope to return.

The village is tiny, romantic, and high up in the mountains, with plenty of cute cats around. The hotel is lovely and the view from the room is amazing. The rooms are poorly soundproofed, which is quite disturbing. The restaurant serves delicious menus featuring regional products, and the staff are friendly and professional.

We came for dinner and had a great meal made with local products of excellent quality. Great food and location.
