Apto Royal Marina Golf V

The complex is a little away from the main resort area. Our apartment was clean, spacious, and well furnished, with a large balcony. The pool area looked lovely, though the weather wasn't kind enough for us to use it.

Nick was great to deal with, and the apartment was bright, spacious, beautifully decorated and very clean. The views were fantastic, the wifi excellent, and the setting was quiet. The grounds felt safe and were well kept, with a private pool area behind a gate that residents open with a key. Best apartment we've ever stayed in, 10/10.

The rental apartments are fine for a relaxing break, but understand what this place is before coming: it's a residential complex, not a holiday resort. The weather isn't for everyone, as it's very windy most of the time, and there are no beaches here, so it's not great for children. Noise isn't tolerated, and residents may call the police if their lives are disrupted. The buildings in the Canaries use hollow single blocks, which make noise echo, especially at night, so excessive noise could lead to the police being called and you being expelled from the complex. Rubbish isn't tolerated either. Use the bins outside the main gates.

A great place to stay in Tenerife, and a good starting point for a trip around the island.
