Wyndham Residences Golf del Sur

The location made it easy to explore the island by car, and the hotel supplies plenty of toiletries, which is handy if you’re travelling light. The kitchen had what we needed, including a kettle and a separate coffee machine. Plane watchers will also enjoy the hotel’s position beneath the airport approach, with aircraft coming in to land. Our apartment was spacious, spotless, and far better equipped than we expected. It had two showers and a bathtub, good quality furniture, and a large flat-screen TV in the living room, around 48 inches. They supplied bath towels as well as separate towels for the beach and pool. There was also plenty of toilet paper, bin bags, dishwashing detergent, and tablets for the washing machine and dishwasher. Check-in was quick and easy. The woman at reception was very friendly and helpful, and shared local tips before we even asked. The communal areas were kept clean each day, and the staff we met were welcoming and seemed happy. Even on top of the wardrobes, our accommodation was completely clean. We had a fantastic stay at Wyndham Residence Golf del Sur and would definitely stay again.

Walking along the coastal boardwalk to the harbours was lovely, and there were lots of nice restaurants nearby. The bar and hotel staff were friendly and went out of their way to help. Our clean, well-equipped apartment felt homely, with a comfortable bed and a good shower. The pool was a nice temperature, and there were always plenty of sunbeds.

The location was good, and the place was clean. The kitchen and bathroom were well equipped, and having towels for the pool was a nice touch. But the apartment wasn’t what the listing described. I booked a studio that looked modern and attractive in the photos, but got an old, dated ground-floor apartment that wasn’t very comfortable. There also wasn’t enough hot water for two short baths in a row.

We come to Wyndham for three weeks each January to enjoy the winter sun and warmth. It’s also a chance to catch up with friends we’ve made and enjoy the accommodation, the resort, and especially the wonderful staff. We already booked our return for 2027 last year, and can’t wait.
