My four-year-old son had so much fun, and there was plenty for everyone. The shows were amazing and the entertainment really was exceptional. I enjoyed the food too. I lost my bag, and reception said it hadn’t been handed in. I casually asked Mo Salah if he’d seen it since he’d been in the area where I lost it. He went above and beyond and, to my amazement, found it. Couldn’t be happier. We’ll come again.

Just got home from our stay at bahia. The castle looks brilliant, the cocktails were amazing, and the beer was really nice too. I only tried pina colada and strawberry daquiri, but both were great. The splash zone and slides were good, and the infinity pool looking out over the ocean was relaxing. There’s also a brilliant, very cheap curry house across the road. A few things stopped me giving five stars. One staff member down by the infinity pool was very rude. I’d have rated the rooms five stars, but housekeeping didn’t replace the shower gel or shampoo, and I want to be able to wash the dirt off. Breakfast was okay, but the undercooked sausages spoiled it for me. The bacon and poached eggs were fine. Music playing at night outside the entertainment schedule was annoying when we were trying to sleep. I can imagine it being a problem for parents whose kids wake easily. My partner had asked for birthday decorations in our room for my 30th, but they didn’t do it, even though we saw other rooms decorated for birthdays. That was a letdown for her. It’s a good hotel, probably better for families than couples.

The entertainment team were friendly and welcoming, and the food was lovely. We had a lovely view from the room, with the sea on both sides and part of the adults’ pool in sight. The shows were amazing too. Coming back to a happy birthday banner on our door, a complimentary bottle of alcohol and hotel chocolates was a lovely surprise.

This was our second visit, after first staying here in 2020, and we spent eight nights this time. It was another very positive stay. Most of the staff were attentive, friendly and keen to help, which made things comfortable, though there were a few exceptions. The kids are very well occupied here. Our child loved the slides and spent ages there, and there are games, competitions, animation, a children’s disco and a kids’ club. We went to three shows, all very well organized, with great performances and costumes. Our room was clean, comfortable and looked after well. Housekeeping came daily and the minibar was replenished every day. The buffet changed daily and had plenty of choice. There was a little less selection than in 2020, but the food quality was still good. We tried the Asian, Italian and steak restaurants. The Asian one wasn’t really to our taste, but we really enjoyed the other two. At the Italian restaurant, our child got to make a pizza, which was a fun memory for them. A note about the beds: some rooms have twins and some have a king-size bed. We hadn’t checked when booking and got twins. The hotel kindly offered us a move to a king-size room after a few days, but repacking and unpacking didn’t seem convenient, so we stayed put. It’s worth stating your bed preference when booking. We’d happily recommend the hotel and return.
