Casas de Piedra - Finca Punta del Lomo

We paid nearly 4000 Euros for a couple of weeks, so I expected much better. The washing machine was disgusting, and our clothes came out dirty, with mud and dirt on them. Palm trees weren't cared for properly and kept falling into the yard and pool, and even onto us. At least five times during our stay, palms fell, so our daughter couldn't move around the yard freely. The outlets were loose and dangerous to touch, and the oven stayed on after being switched off, then short circuited. The second TV had no remote. We raised it, but never got one during the whole stay. The outdoor furniture was falling apart, and its cushions were extremely dirty when we arrived. The owner suggested a restaurant with terrible guest reviews and reported food problems, so we didn't go. Since returning home, I've written to the owner four times and never received a reply. We don't recommend this place and won't stay here again.

The communal pool is large, spotless, and never overcrowded, and the apartments are modern, spacious, clean, and set among a banana plantation. Anna and her team provide impeccable service, and nothing seems too much trouble. This was our second visit, and everything was just perfect again. It's conveniently located in the south, about 10 minutes from the airport. I'd suggest having a car so you can head out whenever you like, since buses from Guargacho can take a while. An amazing place.

This is a quiet, secluded spot with plenty of space and all the amenities, and we found it very secure. The shared area and pool are great, and because the place is so large, the pool often feels like your own. You also get to know the neighbours. There's a family barbecue area, a big kids' playground, a parrot cage, a tennis court, and, of course, the banana plantation. It's beautiful, green, and very relaxing, with lots of care put into it and superb value for money. You do need a car, but it's a great stay for families and couples. We loved it and will come back. The huge banana plantation all around the villa makes a lovely setting. Inside, it's nicely decorated, spacious, and has fans in every room to keep things cool. With two bedrooms and a private pool, there's plenty of room indoors and outside, making it good for families or couples. I loved staying here and would highly recommend it.
