Muthu Royal Park Albatros

We had a bit of a disaster with the private apartment we booked, but we've picked a different one for our return this year because we loved Parque Albatros. There were lots of sunbeds and the heated pool was lovely. The on-site restaurant bar las dos hermanos was grand, though we only ate there once. We weren't bothered by the flight path, even with plenty of planes overhead during the day, as it was quieter at night, or maybe we just didn't notice them. There are lots of restaurants and bars within a five-minute walk. For breakfast we went to rendezvous, and nearby options included grandee o donnells, wild geese, golden bay chinise, and papitas near the marina. There are also plenty of places down by the marina, about 5 or 7 minutes away on foot. Facing the reception door, take the gate on the left, go to the bottom of the complex, then leave through the far gate, like a service entrance. Restaurants and supermarkets were on the left. Two corivan supermarkets are close, one by the front entrance and another at the back exit. We also visited castle san miguel, which was brilliant, karting club tenerife, also brilliant and with free transfers, and aqualand, which was good.

The area is well maintained, and the room was nicely equipped for a family of five. The AC unit worked really well, and the view was lovely. The windows blocked most of the airplane noise as they came in overhead. There are shops and other daily necessities nearby, plus nice beaches within walking distance.

A great place to relax and enjoy life. The pool, rooms, and location were all great, and it suits families as well as couples.

The shared pool was the best we've ever had, really spacious, a great temperature, and around 8m deep. The Poolside cafe was good too, with reasonable prices. Our apartment had a great ocean view, and the kitchen and bathroom were decent, but this is just my take on our particular room since they're all owned by different people. Ours felt dated, the air conditioning wasn't good, and the beds were awful to sleep on. Getting around was the main downside. There's a gym and spa nearby that you can use ad-hoc for a small price, plus an Irish bar and a couple of the usual shops, but for bigger towns you need to cross hilly paths, pay for an expensive taxi, or rely on buses that are cheap but unreliable. I just wish there was a little more right nearby.
