The pool and jacuzzi were a big reason we booked, since they were meant to be heated. The water was barely lukewarm, though, so we couldn’t relax and only managed a quick five-minute dip. We mentioned it to the staff, who said they’d fix it, but the temperature never went up during our week there, despite us asking. There were other frustrations: the bed was old, made from two single beds pushed together rather than a proper double, and the towels were worn out and didn’t dry us. The washing machine in the shared laundry room wasn’t working either. The apartment itself is in a very quiet, convenient location if you have a car. The kitchen has a good range of appliances, and the balcony or terrace is lovely, with a table, chairs, and loungers.

A peaceful place near San Miguel, with a nice, simple Spanish style inside. It had everything we needed, and we enjoyed our stay. You’ll need a car to get around: the coast is about 30 minutes away and Teide is 45 minutes. Shops in San Miguel are around 1-2 km away.

We really enjoyed the peace and quiet and the view from the apartment. Everything was as described and working perfectly, and the property was well maintained. There was no need to contact management. They left us to enjoy our holiday without checking in or making conversation, and everything was fine.

We like a quiet, laid-back place, and that’s exactly what we got. The owners were trustworthy, and we had a great stay with no hassle. The gardens are lovely, with hammocks around the grounds and a heated pool tucked under the building, almost like a cave. Our balcony faced a big palm tree that got trimmed while we were out. I’d love to know how they managed that! The accommodation had everything we needed, including a filter coffee machine, kettle, microwave, toaster, hob, fridge, and a bathroom hairdryer. The shower was great. There’s a well-stocked Dialprix supermarket just down the hill, and San Miguel village has reasonably priced places to eat and drink.

We had a terrible experience last week, and had to move to another hotel the next morning. I’m glad others had a good stay.
