The garden around the house has lots of charming little corners, and the hiking trails are close by. Inside, the stone and wood make it feel lovely, and the bed was comfortable. It was quiet too, with only birdsong to hear, so it's just right for relaxing. We spent last weekend in Retama, a beautiful, comfortable house with everything we needed. The owner was friendly and lovely, made sure we had what we needed, and suggested places to visit. Highly recommended.

We enjoyed the surroundings during our whole weekend, and the owner gave us excellent service and a very warm welcome. The house was a great experience overall. A couple of things could have made the stay perfect: the pellet heating wasn't plugged in when we arrived, and the showers felt small and uncomfortable.

Magdalena was so friendly and attentive that we'd definitely come back. Casa Albar is a beautiful, comfortable house in a perfect spot to switch off, and we could enjoy the stay with our pet. Mowgli was a great host as well!

The village is tiny and very quiet, but it's well placed for exploring the Sierra de Francia mountains. We spent a week in August in one of the houses and were delighted with the choice. The house was wonderful, the surroundings were beautiful, and the owners, Manuel and Concha, were lovely. Everything was perfect, and it's a highly recommended place to get away for a few days.
