The pool was a great place to unwind after a day exploring the city, and I really liked the location. I'm not Spanish, but the receptionist gave me everything I needed in perfect English, which made the stay much easier. The staff were very polite and welcoming, and the service was excellent. Highly recommend it!

The hostel's common room was a highlight, bright and comfortable for a chat, a game, or a quiet read. It's easy to meet other travellers there or just relax after being out. Rooms were spacious and clean, and the walk-in shower was gorgeous, better than some I've had in four-star hotels. The staff made me feel welcome from the start and were always happy to help or share local tips. It's a short walk to the historic centre, cafés and restaurants. Lockers, laundry service and reliable Wi-Fi were handy extras. I had a warm, social stay in a well-kept place, and would happily return. It works well for a budget visit to Cartagena without giving up comfort. Ask the staff where they like to eat and about hidden gems. They were really helpful. Booking early is a good idea, as the hostel fills up fast, especially in peak season.
