It’s well equipped with what you need, and very quiet. I’d suggest parking on the street below and using the stairs.

The Wi-Fi barely worked, there was no air conditioning, and the curtains let in the early morning light. We feel we paid for things that weren’t actually available. The place didn’t feel like an apartment so much as a low-ceilinged living room, and we had a bad stay.

There’s barely any furniture, and the place is filthy and dusty. One armchair had a stain that looked like who knows what, maybe semen, and I’m amazed the lights worked at all. I’d have been better off on the street. For God’s sake, clean the place.

The location made things easy, with supermarkets, restaurants, barbershops, and other amenities close by. When we hired a car on our second day, the woman at the complex shared route ideas and pointed out restaurants and squares that would work for a family with our little one. That was a really kind gesture. We arrived last weekend with our young son and found the apartment spotless, with the playpen already set up. Friends had recommended the place and turned out to be right about it all. Everyone was attentive and friendly from arrival through departure, and the facilities were excellent. We still have towns to see on the island, but we know where we’ll stay when we come back.
