Don Cecilio Guesthouse

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean, the beds comfortable, and the courtyard quiet. It’s perfectly placed near the old city and beach, with plenty of shops, bars, and restaurants around. Parking is offsite, but ask for a voucher since it’s cheaper than paying yourself. The lot is a 4 or 5 minute walk from the guesthouse.

The terrace was a wonderful spot for breakfast and relaxing, and our hosts and the crew were kind and attentive. My wife and I had a great stay at Don Cecilio, a brand new place in San Sebastian that friends suggested. The rooms and service were excellent, with a warm, friendly feel despite the classy design. Everything was spacious and very clean, including the large, elegant bathroom. It’s right in the middle of the interesting parts of town, a few minutes’ walk from the beaches, old town pintxos, nightlife, and world-class restaurants, yet it’s on a quiet, stylish street in the high-end shopping area. A happy discovery, and definitely a new favorite for staying in this amazing town.

Small, cozy rooms right in the center of San Sebastian, just off the boulevard and only 2min from the old town.

Really good place, with a perfect location and a new, clean room and bathroom. The service was good too. Our window faced the street, though, and it got noisy early in the morning. Very recommended.
