The location was great, and the apartment was clean and quiet. Getting the keys was simple, and the office staff were friendly and helpful. A few small things could have improved our stay. There was a Nespresso machine but no pods, tea, sugar, or creamer. We only discovered on checkout day that the coffee shop downstairs sold the pods, so a note by the machine would have helped. It would also have been nice to find ice already made, since ours froze just as we were leaving. We didn't get any TV or streaming instructions. The TV was connected to a coaxial cable in the wall, but there was no live signal and no way to stream or connect a laptop. It wasn't a major issue, though we were there on King Charles’ coronation day and had hoped to watch the ceremony.

We especially liked how quiet and well-equipped the apartment was. It had all the basics, from cookware and dishes to sheets and towels, plus a little cleaning kit with a sponge, product, dishwasher tablet, and garbage bag. The place was in great shape, tastefully furnished, and had a bright living room facing a calm street, a kitchenette, a rear bedroom away from noise, a nice bathroom, and a small balcony. It's compact, but just right for two. Everything is nearby in the heart of Donostia, including pedestrian streets, shops, restaurants, and bars. The cathedral, San Martin market, and Contcha beach are also close. We parked in the secure and convenient Contcha parking lot, which cost €27 per day. Picking up the apartment key meant walking about 15 minutes to an office on the other side of the river.
